How to transfering openerp from server to server

Any one who will help me how to transfer openerp from development server to production server ?

Install openerp on production server then restore the database after taking backup from the development server to production server and copy the addons from development server to production server.

Note the database backup must be tar or custom format and the encoding must be UTF8
