How do I check if I have Odoo community edition or enterprise edition?

Hi,
How do I check if my company signed up for enterprise or community edition?
Also, if we have community edition, how do I check the costs and upgrade?

If you are using the community edition, you do not have any cost as it is open source, but you have to take care of upgrades yourself.
Well there are multiple ways, you could also check your Odoo bills :-)
But the proper way to exactly know which version you are using is to select "About" under the backend user tab:
