Hello, 

I would like to disable some emails being sent.  For example:

  • when a sales order is cancelled, I don't want the customer to be notified. I know the user can click Cancel instead of Send and Cancel but users sometimes click the wrong button. I tried archiving the template but that doesn't seem to prevent Odoo using it and sending the email. 
  • when the accounts receivable team raise a purchase invoice by selecting the relevant purchase order, I don't want the buyer to be notified. Currently, the purchasing officer receives an email every time accounts raise a purchase invoice. I can't find an email template that corresponds to this, nor how to disable the notification for this action. 





Client is on V16e.

For these automatically sent e-mails (mails to users of the database) when a sale order or an invoice is created, there is no template available in the technical menu. I have been wondering the same issue: how can I prevent that certain e-mails are sent? 

For example: the responsible person for an invoice will receive an e-mail when it is created and when it is confirmed. In smaller organizations, mostly, the responsible person is also the person who created the invoice. So, there is no need to send him an e-mail. Untill now, I could not find how to disable the mails to be sent.

Thanks Veerle, I also have not managed to solve this. I'll post back here if I do find a solution.
