I created a record rule for group 'Recruitment / Officer'. The rule used for limit accessing to Message, domain force:
[('subtype_id.name', '!=', 'Salary')]
But, the group 'Recruitment / Manager' inherit the 'Recruitment / Officer', so the rule also apply for 'Recruitment / Manager'.
How can I configure the rule only apply for group 'Recruitment / Officer' but not 'Recruitment / Manager'

You can try in this way, Create new group "your group name" with inherit 'Recruitment / Officer'
then you can apply your domain to this group, after that add the users to this your group name
I don't think you can do that (though it would be useful). A workaround is to create a "Technical Settings" group and then select that for all the users in the Recruitment Officers group.
