I have found invoices with reversed dates.

Instead of 01.05.21, it has been imported as 05.01.21. I have update the invoice dates to be correct.

But when we checked the General Ledger, it's still 05.01.21

How can i modify the date in the General Ledger to be 01.05.21 ? I need to do it for many invoices in batch. I can export the general ledgers but i did not find any import functionality ?!

Hello,

You can't import general ledger directly as it is a reporting part.

For changing the date in ledger you have to change first in journal entries and also you can import journal entries directly from favourites> import.

Thanks & Regards

Hi @Kundeep,

The general ledger is generated from the invoice, right.

Previously i have updated the invoice date with the export / import functionality. But that change did not update the date from the general ledger.

But when you go on the invoice, click Edit, make any updates to save the changes (e.g. change the date and then reput the correct date), than it updates the date on the general ledger.

Based on our suggestion, what i did, i exported the invoice and journal Entry in two different files. I have compared with dates between the two files and updated the journal entry date with the one from the invoice.

It works.

Many thanks!

Dan
