Front-end Odoo language

Question

I know Odoo mostly uses Python for the back-end with PostgreSQL for data storage and the front-end is essentially a themed template on top of that back-end. I want to change that themed template to something custom made without touching the logic and the back-end. Could anybody help me figure out what language is used for that template? HTML, XL...?

On the Website go to: website and click edit button top right Change the blocks as available and change styles etc
Once changed you can save and view the result. I advise you not to change in direct HTML or CSS as it may risk the standard results.
Get few videos available in youtube and watch.
Hope this may help you at this moment
