It is true we are investing everything we have into the Enterprise Edition, that is the edition we can use to support payroll for our 2,000 employees. Underlying that Edition is the Community Edition which we also maintain and update and provide many new features for. The features that are 'commodities' are in that Edition. The game changing features will be in the Enterprise Edition that over 30,000 (as of the time of posting) SME's around the world pay for each month. I have not met an SME since the release of version 9.0 for which the ROI of adopting the Enterprise Edition is not positive, sometimes massively so. I don't always answer questions posted here, I provide information that others reading them might find valuable. You just don't check the box on any comment that isn't an answer for you! ;)

I might comment that I have indeed realized that Odoo is investing all their "chips" in the company's great AR OCR solution. However forgetting many SMEs that want to keep it simple and would be happy with the simplicity that many simple apps offer to easily scan QR and, due to the information it provides, streamline their activities. I believe that sooner or later the focus will turn to the precious SMEs!
