How to configure Ship later option in Odoo PoS?
Reply: In Odoo's Point of Sale (PoS) module, the "Ship later" option allows you to defer the shipping of products to a later date.
To configure the "Ship later" option in Odoo PoS, you need to follow these steps:
1. Enable the Delivery Module: Make sure the Odoo Delivery module is installed and enabled in your Odoo instance. This module provides the necessary functionality for managing deliveries.
2. Set Up Delivery Methods: Configure the delivery methods that will be available for delayed shipping. This can be done in the Odoo backend. Go to Inventory → Configuration → Delivery Methods. Create a new delivery method or modify an existing one to suit your needs. Ensure that you enable the "Allow Shipping Later" option for the delivery method(s) you want to use for deferred shipments.
3. Assign Delivery Methods to PoS Configurations: Associate the delivery methods with the Point of Sale configurations in Odoo. To do this, go to Point of Sale → Configuration → Point of Sale. Edit the PoS configuration you want to enable the "Ship later" option for, and under the General Settings tab, select the desired delivery method(s) that allow shipping later.
4. Configure Delivery Date in PoS Interface: In the PoS user interface, you can now enable the "Ship later" option for specific orders and select the desired delivery date. This is done during the checkout process. When adding products to the order, click on the "Ship later" button to activate the deferred shipping feature. Then, choose the delivery date using the date picker.

Hi,
You have to open configuration settings of the related point of sale, from Point Of Sale -> Configuration -> Settings, select the needed pos and tick the option "Allow Ship Later"
Once you enable it, you can see the warehouse and shipping policy field's, in case if you need to change those, you can change it as per the need.
Now once you place the order in pos and go to the payment screen, you will see the Ship Later button, in case if any order has to be shipped later, you can just click and mark the order for ship later.
