Hi guys, I'm trying to setup Gmail outgoing email integration. I've followed the procedure, which I can't link to because this is my first post. I've setup OAUTH successfully and tested. We used to have this running in v14 with no issues, we are trying on v16 now. 

I get the following error while testing the connection. Any help please?

The server refused the sender address (abc@xyz.com) with error b'5.7.0 Authentication Required. Learn more at\n5.7.0 https://support.google.com/mail/?p=WantAuthError s6-20020adff806000000b003068f5cca8csm9398932wrp.94 - gsmtp'

I have the same issue and it's really strange for me that I could not even find one video on YT that shows everything from A-Z how to setup OAuth with Google Gmail Business and setup the respective users in Odoo. Not even one and the documentation from Odoo also lags on this :(

Just to add a new answer that 'worked' for me, I went into Outgoing Mail Servers in the Technical menu and pressed 'Test Connection' 

Then all of my currently failed emails started resending

I ran into the same issue today and solved it. 

It tuned out that my "username" in the outgoing mail server page (right above the green Gmail Taken Valid" label was different than I had setup in Google. I hope this helps.
