I have been struggling with a problem for quite a long time. In openerp6.0.1 sometimes when I make some changes in a module and upgrade a module (say base), I get this error

Severe Assertion Error

and after that unable to login. Either I have to restore or create a new module or I change the module state from 'to upgrade' to 'installed' in 'ir_module_module' table.

Please help if anyone knows how to cope up with the problem! Its really very urgent because after this I won't be able to upgrade my base module or the affected module. The changes made works fine in other database.
