I'd like to reserve an item for internal purpose. Once finished the item can go back in the stock.
I have created a location WH/"R&D" but the availability still takes into account the item moved in R&D stock. How could I vanish my item for in "Free in hand" count?

You could create a Push rule from WH/"R&D to WH/Stock. This would create an operation once products are move to WH/"R&D and would reserve the products.
