Hi there, I was wondering if this was possible with the documents module, or perhaps a custom module?
I basically need to provide a page which allows customers to search for and download specific documents. They should be able to enter the name of the document (which will be a short code like B0002) and then they should be able to download that document. We will have to store many of these documents, and we don't want the customers to be able to see all of them. this is the current limitation with the Document modules' share function.
Is it possible to change the URL of the documents in the document module? they are changed to a GUID like 6j67j6s8d-as98da-8asd88a-adhsandsa748, I would rather have a specific name, like odoo.com/documents/shared/B0001.pdf.
If anyone has any ideas or tips that would be greatly appreciated.
Have you tried using the eLearning module instead?
Hi @Julien Plaitin, thanks for the idea, I have just tried this and it seems it may work, but there are quite a few features that I don't want, and I have to hide or delete, like the XP system, achievements, leaderboard, and also the fact that everything is called "courses" I have to rename it. Is it also possible to change the URL of the whole courses environment? I don't see this in the settings. I would like to change it from "slides" to "knowledge-centre"
