Prevent duplicate entries

Question

Hello,
While importing attributes , how to prevent duplicate entries when attribute already defined but i want to import attribute values in that attribute

example
already having attribute as strength with 10 ml but again i want to import data in strength attribute as 100 ml, 200 ml, etc...

Odoo creating new entries as strength and getting 2 attribute as strengths as
strength values 10ml   strength values 100 ml , 200 ml    while importing i want 100 ml  and 200 ml in 1 strength

Hi,
When importing product attributes in Odoo, duplicates appear because Odoo creates a new attribute if it only sees the name again. To avoid this, reference the existing attribute’s External ID in your import file and add only the new values (e.g., 100 ml, 200 ml). Without the External ID, Odoo assumes it’s a new attribute and duplicates it.
