Hi all,

We've recently migrated to Odoo 17 from Odoo 13. We've noticed that the search bar in our header displays all kinds of content, ranging from products to blog posts. Some products can hardly be found via the search bar, because a list of blog posts get priority in the search function and push the products all the way down. This results in customers calling our customer service, complaining that they can't find the product that they are searching for.

In Odoo 13, the search function only showed products when typing and on the search results page. I know about the search bar funtionality on the product and category pages, but this is simply not intuitive enough for our website visitors. 

Is this some weird global decision by Odoo to include all the content in the search functionality, with no clear way for a user to change this in the settings? Is this something that is hard coded and needs to be changed with custom code by a developer?

I hope someone can help me out or point me in the right direction.
