Hi,

Whenever I send an invoice to a customer via email (PDF only) Odoo adds a footer to the email text:

"PS: Wir haben Ihnen Ihre Rechnung nicht auf Peppol gesendet.Wenn Sie eine Peppol-konforme Software benötigen, empfehlen wir Odoo."

In english that would read:

"PS: We have not sent you your invoice on Peppol. If you need Peppol compliant software, we recommend Odoo."


That is not part of my email template. How can I get rid of that annoying advert?

The view came with the last update of the Peppol module (it's even mentioned in the changelog). It's an inherited view of the standard mail template, which can easily be deactivated.

Go to Settings and to 'E-Mail-Layout aktualisieren' (unfortunately, I'm not sure what the exact English term is here).

  • Click on the small hierarchy button next to the key 'mail.mail_notification_layout'.
  • Search for 'Peppol advertisement' in the views. When you hover over it with your mouse, you'll see a small eye icon. Click on it to access the view.
  • Toggle the 'Active' switch to inactive and you are free! :D

So there is no need to drop the Peppol module, that would be really annoying, if you want to use it but don't like the advertisement.

I wanted to try this as posted here:

But I don't see any button next to mail.mail_notification_layout. Could someone maybe post a screenshot?

EDIT: I found it by directly searching for it in the views. The view is called 'mail notification layout with responsible signature (user_id of the record) and Peppol advertisement'

Wie werde ich den peppol Spruch in meinen Rechnungsmails los Um den Peppol-Hinweis aus Ihren Rechnungs-E-Mails in Odoo zu entfernen, können Sie das Peppol-Modul deaktivieren, falls Sie es nicht benötigen. Hier sind die Schritte: 1. Deaktivieren Sie das Peppol-Modul: • Gehen Sie in Odoo zu "Apps". • Suchen Sie nach dem Modul "Peppol" (account_peppol). • Deinstallieren Sie das Modul. Nachdem Sie das Modul deinstalliert haben, sollte der Peppol-Hinweis nicht mehr in Ihren Rechnungs-E-Mails erscheinen. Bitte beachten Sie: Wenn Sie das Peppol- Modul für die elektronische Rechnungsstellung benötigen, sollten Sie es nicht deinstallieren. In diesem Fall gibt es möglicherweise keine Möglichkeit, den Hinweis zu entfernen, da er Teil der Funktionalität des Moduls ist.

Klingt sinnvoll! Habe ich eben gemacht, mal sehen, ob es was bringt 👍
