I am trying to add new field (character) to invoice line in Odoo14 Studio. I can add the field and it shows up when creating or editing invoice, but if i add a value to it, the value is not saved. If i add new field to header, it works fine.

I tried googling this and there was talk that it needs to added to some other place (atleast in odoo13), but i dont see any places where i could add it in studio...

I finally found a solution! I needed to add these lines to the XML for studio customization VIEW:












Hopefully this helps somebody! But this is clearly not working correctly in studio and should be fixed.
