I have similar issue. I did work on website for about 4-5 hours, did a lot of work and then after few hours after  i accidentally saved the old version of the website, because i had more tabs of website editor open on my gllg chrome and all work is gone, it rewritted new content with old one. Is there any way to help me with this please?

Did you get any solution somewhere else? 
We have got the same issue. 
We wanted to change the menu, to delete some pages from the menu, but not delete the page. Now the whole page got deleted and nowhere to recover it.

Unless you are using any third party apps to have the facility of trash, there's no way to recover any deleted records from odoo. 
If it's archived, you can unarchive it. If it's deleted, then there's no option to recover it.
