Hi everyone,

I'm using Odoo 10 and has question about calendar event.

How can we delete entire recurring event? Now, with the recurring event, I only can delete individual event, there is no option for delete series.

I'm not understand your question clear about recurring means. but if you want to remove multiple records you can change the view to tree view and select multiple records and delete it. tree view help to remove multiple records. I hope this will help you. :)

Hi Anil,

I known it, but when you create the recurrent event (repeated event), only 1 event created in DB. The others shown in calendar are virtual event.

My question is there is anyway to delete the recurrent event, not delete the virtual events on calendar.

Hi,

bumping this topic because I've been trying to delete previously installed 'recurring events' in my calendar, and it doesn't work.
Can someone please tell me how to make sure events that have been installed as daily occurrences are deleted from the schedule in one go? 
I've tried selecting 'this and future events', 'all events', archiving, archiving after trying to select the action of deleting as a 'new' recurring event, etc.. Nothing seems to work.

SO: 1 month on and I've finally figured it out:

to solve recurring events that seem 'un-deletable' you head for the meeting details of the appointment you want to edit. Click the tab 'options'. It will show you the 'recurring event' options.
Keep the option 'recurrent' on, but change the 'until' option from 'forever' to 'end date'. Then choose an end date (the day after, for example) and voilà.
