One of the main challenges in converting my website built on Odoo into a reusable template is that Odoo stores website components in a combination of views, assets, and database records. This makes it difficult to extract and package everything into a standalone template. Additionally, there is limited documentation on how to properly export a complete website structure — including custom snippets, page layouts, and static content — in a way that can be imported and reused on another Odoo instance. Managing dependencies between modules and ensuring compatibility across different Odoo versions also adds complexity to the process.
