I'm trying to create an email template for quotations in sales module.How do I attach the respective quotation as a pdf report in the email?

This is an standard feature. Just go to the order, click the "SEND BY EMAIL"
button and it's all.
The related mail template is "Sales Order: Send by email" and you can customize it, if you want.
