I feel like this should be easy. I have a bank account that is automatically connected and a credit card that is also automatically connected.
In the Bank Account for example it says... Chase Credit Card Payment $-100
In the Credit Card account it says... Payment Received $100
I feel like I should just be able to categorize the Payment from the bank and link it to the credit card account. Right? Am I missing something because I can't figure out how to do it.
I feel like it should just automatically see that it is the same amount and the same timeframe and give me the option to link them.
There is the "internal transfer" option from the payments... but that just makes a new journal entry. Do i need to make that and then go delete the other transactions? That doesn't seem right.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
