Hello,
on the locally hosted community edition in the odometer, at every entry even past entries the driver will always be the current driver and not like a record of the past.
In the Online version on the other hand it is like a past record and only shows the driver of the time the record was made. (Which would be my desired behaviour on the locally hosted version)
Is it possible that this is intended behaviour or did i miss a setting so that the local version behaves like the online version here?
If it is intended, i expect i would need to change the code or even create a module for that behaviour, correct?
Tried this on v16, 17 and 18 in case it was a version problem, but all have the same behaviour.

So as I expected.
Hi,
In the Community Edition (CE) for versions 16, 17, and 18, when you open an odometer entry, Odoo instead fetches the current driver assigned to the vehicle, rather than storing the driver at the time of entry.
As a result, all past odometer logs show the driver as the current one, even for older entries.
In the Online (Enterprise) version, or via custom modules, the driver is stored statically per entry, which is your desired behavior: records show the driver at the time.
This matches known behavior in Odoo’s core: the odometer model does not 'freeze' the assigned driver on creation, but just shows the current reference.
To achieve the behavior you want, you’ll need custom development
