In sales->Products->Inventory you can enter the weight and Volume of a product. Most shipping companies don't ask for volume but require the length, width and height of the package. 

I could not find a way to enter this, other than going via studio and adding the 3 fields in the model of the product, but also there I had a question how you can enter it as a dimension, and not a simple float so that it makes use of the dimension units specified in Units of Measure and Packagings. 

Maybe it would be nice if there was an option in Units fo Measure and Packaging where you can specify if you want either Volume or Length,Width, Height.
