Hello! Thanks for the suggestion!
If I understand correctly, the idea would be to maintain a list of test addresses used for warmup (to receive emails, and sometimes click or reply). That is a bit far from our core business.
On the Odoo side (Odoo Online / Odoo.sh), in the same spirit, we apply a daily email limit. We gradually increase what a database is allowed to send based on indicators (for example the bounce rate, which reflects the health of your lists). We plan to automate the tuning of this daily limit soon. For now, you can ask Support to raise it, and we increase in steps when things look good: 200, 400, 800, 1600 etc.
On your side, you can of course start with small volumes to your most engaged contacts, then ramp up gradually if bounces stay low.
If you have more info or concrete examples of the value a warmup assistant would bring to Odoo, feel free to share!
Hi, can you explain what "warm up" is? Do you want to use Odoo to send mass email to your preferred address?
A domain has to be trusted, else the emails start to be rejected by ISP's and mail servers.
A warmup mailbox starts sending say 50x mails per day, but gradually increases the number sent per day by a random number each day +5 - 10...
The number is gradually increased as the domain builds up trust and so, in time more mails can be sent with less bounce/rejection.
