Up to now, I have not found any way to edit a custom filter once stored. Impossible or did I oversee anything?

In Developer Mode, visit this Menu:
Find and open the Filter you created to see the definition and a way to edit the Domain:
Hi,
You have to activate debug mode, clicking on your name (on the top right) and after on "about OpenERP". After that you can see a dropdownlist with Debug View #..., and you can select the item "Manage Filter".
