Hello,

The default behaviour of the Warehouse Type Receipt is that it takes the Code setup in the Warehouse Type. However it does no take into consideration the warehouse selected.

For example, i send a delivery order from a warehouse A (WH_A). The Delivery order is something link this WH_A/OUT/1001 . The customers returns the delivery to a Warehouse B (WH_B). 


When i create inbound from the initial WH_A/Stock/OUT/1001, i choose to return to Warehouse B. But the inbound shows WH_A/IN/ and not WH_B/IN. 

It creates a lot of mess for the warehouse operators. 

Is there a way to configure the system to show only Transfer types that belong to a specific warehouse ?


In the below screenshot, the Vis/Stock transfer should not been shown at all.

When you create a transfer, the short name of the warehouse and the sequence prefix of the operation type is used. So for example BVA/IN/... 

In your case you are using "BVA receipt" operation type as your return operation so the sequence is always going to be BVA/IN/... So as long as you are using the return button on documents thats how it is going to be no matter the destination location you later set. 

You have two options. continue using that method and save a custom search filter that searches the "to" and "from" location for the locations of choice OR set return operation to VIS reciepts

thanks for your operation. I have a question concern our second option. How can you set the return operation to VIS receipts ?
When you create a return from a delivery order, the systems does not allow you to change the Operations Type ?

I can choose the VIS/Stock as return location. But then on the next screen, it gives me the Operations Type: BVA:Receipt with the Destination Location VIS:Stock.

And i can't change the Operations Type.

There is an option to set return operation in the configuration for the delivery order operation.
