Odoo 17 does not include the Angolan Chart of Accounts (CoA) by default, so to use it you need to install the Angola localization module (l10n_ao_account) from the Apps menu, which provides the country-specific accounts, taxes, and banks. Once installed, you can find it under Accounting → Configuration → Chart of Accounts. If you cannot find the module or prefer to use a custom CoA, you can export a template from Odoo (using the “import-compatible” option), edit it with the Angolan CoA structure, and then re-import it into your database. When importing, make sure account types and external IDs are mapped correctly, and never delete Odoo’s default accounts to avoid breaking journal configurations. Always test the import and back up your database before applying changes.
