We often receive the same LOT of Products over several days.

Each time this happens, our team is changing the Expiry date of the Lot because they don't know we have already received the same LOT and set an expiry date.

Can we warn them when the same LOT number has already been received into inventory?

The default option in Odoo asks Users to create the LOT, but there is an option to allow them to SELECT one instead.

This way, it is clear if they need to CREATE a new lot or SELECT an existing LOT.  With this option, they can not change the Expiry date of existing LOTS:
