i have deleted the module from addons but it is still appearing in apps list.
i am not able to remove it from apps list . when i delete the app from apps list it is showing some odoo server message like "You are trying to remove a module that is installed or will be installed."
please tell me how to remove the apps from apps list.

Hi,
Go to the User interface, then to go to the Apps menu, search the module, uninstall the module if it is already installed in the database, then switch to the tree view, select the module click the Action button and click delete.
Then remove the module from the addons.

you need to delete it from server or virtual machine

The module is not uninstalled before the deletion. You need to update state='uninstalled' for that module in ir_module_module using query. After that update the App list in application. Then it will be removed in app list.

update ir_module_module set state='uninstalled' where name='module_name';
