it is impossible to print a report of xls type in Odoo 8?

Yes, you can. You can install report_xlsx from https://github.com/OCA/reporting-engine
You can find an example in https://github.com/OCA/account-financial-reporting/tree/8.0/account_journal_report_xls

I'm not very confident about this, but I have tried for aeroo reports, But this seems to be deprecated from Version 8.
