Accounting localisation localization Australia does not work in particular when you import accounts and tax codes from Xero.
Can someone please advise and or provide a link in relation to the documentation, specific accounts, journals and other hidden settings to make Accounting localisation module Australia work, in particular the factors that influlence the the the tax report that is for BAS.
Well done Odoo Finally Australian Localization is setup properly in Enterprise 17. A number of helpful Youtube Videos have been produced by Odoo Staff to help navigate the complex setting up of accounting for companies in Australia in particular the video below for a cash basis setup. A simple runbot or demo company for a simple Australian company for ALL the settings to process an invoice, reconcile bank and produce the tax report would be VERY helpful. Small business in Australia is a very big part of the economy here. Odoo has gone partway here in there improvement also in there documentation. Or a cheat sheet step one> to get to the above.

Apparently in version 17.0 this "Problem" or lack of clear guidance in the documentation will be solved. Well 17 will not be available for upgrade for about 2 more months. Its now Nov 2023. The runbot version and associated documentation does not spell out what and where the settings are for Odoo Accounting Cash Basis. Working back from the Tax report and BAS statements for Australian Localization it would be helpful to have clear documentation or a working demo in runbot - for cash basis of why no figures present in the reports? Even Odoo bookkeepers and accountant cant work it out. Any assistance for this would be appreciated thank you.
