We have accidentally overwritten the Accounting module main dashboard page (by selecting Edit View:Kanban) and now the dashboard only shows journal names with no values or links too them:

and when we look to find the view again, it has disappeared and only shows this:

which won't let us find anything without base architecture being installed? It has also caused an error in us accessing our Chart Of Accounts, bringing up this error:

would anybody be able to help us get our Accounting Dashboard back to it's original state please??

Hi,

Activate the developer mode and navigate to Settings -> Technical -> User Interface -> View, open your view and from the action button click on "Compare/Reset" , select the reset mode as per the need and click on Reset View.




If the view is completely deleted, you have to upgrade the module, it in this case Invoicing app(technical name: account)

Hi Aaron,

Updating the Accounting Module and Base Module should restore the view.

Apps -> Accounting and Finance -> Upgrade
Apps -> Base -> Upgrade
Restart Odoo Server

You may need to clear the existing filter('Apps' by default) on search box to show base module.
