I have multiple companies and some users who can access many of them. Users are following mail threads from different companies at once. When there is an email sent inside Company A it has an URL leading to a record inside that Company A. And if user clicks on that URL and has current company set as Company B he is forwarded to a discussion page without any information what happened. How do I change that behavior? How do I change that behavior?

I would like to show at least pop-up saying that user should change its current company. Or even better if it would change automatically.

I think if user have multi company access then on mail click he can see that thread no issue. Why you want to change the user company ? And if user haven't company access but he/she is follower then it redirect to that record.

No he can't see that thread if his current company is different. He has to change it in the top right corner to match the company of the thread to be able to access it.
