Hi,
Im using the equipment module in Odoo CE 10 and im trying to figure out how to get notified by email when a maintenance request is opened. need to notify the owner and the technician of the equipment.
Any help?

You will need to activate Developer Mode to get access to the Technical Menu where you can:
Create an Email Template New Maintenance Request:
Link it to an Automated Action Notify Owner / Technician:
Then, when someone creates a new request like this:
Odoo will generate an email like this:

Everything is perfect, thank you. The only thing i need now is the email field of the equipment provider, to get notified. I tried to figure it out, but can find the specific field.

Thanks Ray,
I figure it out to configure it, but the sent email is sending in blank the receipts. Even when i see a preview of the email in the template
