I'm quite new to Odoo... Hope someone here can help me out.
A SO triggers an intermediate MO of a product with one item in the BOM. Although the reservation for this Operation type is set to 'At confirmation' the system won't reserve the needed amount of this component in stock. When I click the 'Mass produce' button in the MO, I get the user error: 'Make sure enough quantities of these components are reserved to carry on production: Component-name'
What am I doing wrong? Thanks for helping out :-)
Hi,
I assume that there are lack of quantity or, you might putting a wrong "quantity" inside BoM.
For every each quantity you put inside BoM, it will consume the component and it's quantity. For example: if you assign a BoM with 2 qty using 1 component that you assigned with 5 qty, then the BoM need 10 component qty to produce.
Based on the error message you provided :
'Make sure enough quantities of these components are reserved to carry on production: Component-name'
There might be a lack of component to produce your whatever BoM you assigned.
My suggestion is try to check the components in your BoM.
