What happens if an employee falls ill during working hours but started work later than usual? How can this be recorded?

Work profile:

8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. – 0.5 days

1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. – 0.5 days

The employee worked from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Is sick from 12:00 p.m. until the rest of the day.

Does the time off entry now have to be split?

8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and another entry from

1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.?

Hi,

In this case, the sick time off should be split into two entries to accurately reflect the employee's actual worked hours vs sick leave within the day, based on the work schedule.

1-First Sick Leave (morning block):

            -From 08:00 to 10:00

            - Covers the part they missed in the morning half-day

2- Second Sick Leave (afternoon block):

            - From 13:00 to 17:00

            - Full afternoon half-day

You need to adjust the time off type as follows.

Then create time off as follows.

Hope it helps
