I previously used Odoo 15 and installed a free app from the Odoo App Store called "Installment in Payment Terms" by a developer. This app allowed me to create monthly payment terms and automatically set due dates on the same day of each month based on the invoice date. For example, if the invoice date was 9/20/2024 and the term was 3 months, it would generate due dates of 10/20/2024, 11/20/2024, and 12/20/2024. This was more accurate than using 30, 60, or 90-day terms, which can be affected by months with 30 or 31 days.

According to the developer and others I spoke to, Odoo 17 has this feature built-in, but I haven't figured out how to use it yet. Can anyone show me how to set it up in Odoo 17? Thanks in advance!

Hi LB40: This is probably what they are referring to. However you will need to set up different payment terms for each "day" of the month that you need the due dates to fall on.

Thank you for your response. However, I need a setup where we don't have to manually adjust the day based on the invoice date. We usually have terms ranging from 60 months to 10 years, and it's time-consuming to edit the day every time we process an installment transaction.

Many thanks for replying. I want a system that automatically adjusts the day based on the invoice date. We have periods from 60 months to 10 years, and editing the day every time we perform an installment transaction is time-consuming. https://backyardbaseball.io/
