How to handle already existing customer as a partner

Hello everyone,

Please I need clarification concerning odoo enterprise and partnership.

If as a partner you have a company already using odoo before but the implementation wasn’t successful and they want you to take over. How can you add their current subscription to your partnership such that their number of users can be allotted to you and their commission when they renew?

Hi,
It's crucial to have a valid sales/project contract in place with the customer that is mutually agreed upon. This contract can be shared with your accounts manager. Existing users will remain with the old partner, and any future renewals or new user additions will receive benefits. If you need further clarification, please contact your accounts manager as they have the final say.

In this case, my account manager is saying he can't move the project to me and I am wondering why? He claims Odoo does not support moving project that He only handle new projects for me alone

If you are partner and if you need to move a project under your partnership, you can talk with your Odoo Account Manager.
