How to add external id for already created record

Hi,
Does anybody know to create an external Id for the already existing record?
I need to create an external id for a particular product which is already created

Hi,
The record created through the front end doesn't have an external id.

Go to settings->technical->External Identifiers

You can create from here, like below

Hi,
From the list view, filter the record for which you need to generate the external ID, trigger an export for this record.
Odoo will generate an External ID for this record.

* Selected record from tree, from action button, click export and select a random field and export it
* external id is generated for the record.
