Hello to you all,

I really love to work with Oodo 14 , but I noticed a serious problem. When I make a product in Oodo with Cost price and suppliers price all works fine. But when I make severall variants(for example sizes) of this product the costprice in the variant products is empty. The stock is also zero when I by this product. I have to set al the costprices for the variants by hand. 

This is not the way it should work I believe. Is there anyone who can help me with this seriuos problem. We have severall thousend of products, with even more variants.

Hi Giel:

Make sure the Costing Method of the Products is set to either First In First Out (FIFO) or Average Cost (AVCO). The default value is Standard Price which means you have to manually enter the cost for each product variant. If you set it to either FIFO or AVCO, Odoo will automatically keep a track of the cost for you at the variant level based on the selected costing method.

Typically this setting is done at the Product Category like so. 



Here's an example of 2 products after processing a PO and Stock Receipt for them.

TEST Prod A: Standard Price

TEST Prod B: FIFO
