When I calculate price from BoM I get only product cost, not BoM Cost including cost of Operations.
Have I overlooked some settings? The information square that pops up when hovering "Compute Price fron BoM" says "Compute the price of the product using products and operations of related bill of materials"

I have this same exact issue if someone can help me. I would like the compute bom cost to come from the bom cost, but it gives me a random number that is not the product cost or the bom cost.
I am using avco and automated inventory valuation as well.
Yes you are missing something.
- Are you using FIFO or AVCO, or manual valuation? You need to use an automatic system (either will work).
- Check you have set your work center properly, and that you have included a cost per hour.
- Check the operation time is not set to 0.
The product cost and the BOM cost are different columns in the bom overview report. The compute BOM cost seems to add the product costs up not the BOM costs, which is a case of heavy labor can vary a lot. How can we get it to use the BOM cost and not the product cost? I think that is what he is asking and is the same issue I have.
