Hello,

we have been using odoo 8.0 so far. Odoo 8 had this very useful feature to view the chart of accounts as hierachical tree including all booked amuonts and amount aggregations. I cannot find this feature in odoo 9.0 anymore. If I view the chart of account i get a flat list of all acounts which I can group by type. This is not quite helpful since the account hierachy is a major part of the accounting concept. I am currently evaluating the odoo 9.0 community edition.

Any hints how to get this view in odoo 9? It seems to be possible as on thei picture

but I have no idea how.

The concept of the Chart hierarchy has been moved to Reports.

You can summarize (roll up) balances by customizing the report.  See https://www.odoo.com/documentation/user/9.0/accounting/others/reporting/customize.html for details.

To see the Chart represented as a hierarchy, navigate to Accounting --> Reporting --> Legal Statements --> General Ledger.

You can test and play with the Enterprise edition at http://runbot.odoo.com/runbot/repo/git-github-com-odoo-enterprise-7 - click on a blue icon on the top rop (make sure the box is green and not red).  These systems are built several times a day so you will always be looking at the most recent builds of Odoo bv9 Enterprise:

The concept of hierarchical CoA has been abandoned in 9.0 and replaced by using tags. The picture you've provided shows a report with drilldown feature. I can't point you to it, because I do not have the Enterprise Edition. Please check the user documentation for more help about accounting: https://www.odoo.com/documentation/user/9.0/accounting.html

Hello,

I have the same problem, using the community version to test the General Ledger is not that clear, I'd like to know how to configure parent type accounts or something that can get the total amount.
