Events Officer - Dubai
Odoo MENA is seeking a highly motivated and proactive Event Officer to spearhead the organization of Odoo Roadshows and Third-Party events in the MENA & CA region. As the Event Officer, you will play a pivotal role in every aspect of event execution, from selecting venues and crafting campaigns to assessing speaker suitability and evaluating event success.
This position demands a blend of creativity and meticulousness, requiring you to think innovatively while ensuring every detail is planned. Key to your success will be your exceptional organizational and negotiation skills, coupled with a comprehensive understanding of our innovative software and dedication to customer success.
Responsibilities
- Develop compelling content for Odoo event pages, mass emails, and other relevant promotional activities
- Collaborate with various departments to gather necessary information and resources for event execution
- Source suitable venues and negotiate contracts to ensure optimal event conditions
- Lead marketing campaigns to drive event attendance and engagement
Must Have
- Exceptional written and spoken English and Arabic skills
- Passion for software products
- Strong negotiation and organizational skills
- Highly creative and autonomous
- Proficient in Google Suite
Nice to have
- Experience in writing online content
- Additional languages - Russian and Turkish
- Google Adwords experience
- Familiarity with Studio tools such as OBS
