We're using the Attendance module to track employees time in and out of the office but using the template badges Odoo generates we're unable to scan the badge barcode to sign in and out. Would laminating them be causing the problem?

Laminating the badges could indeed be part of the issue, as the glare and thickness of lamination can sometimes interfere with barcode scanners. If the badges are highly reflective or if the lamination has air bubbles or uneven surfaces, the scanner might struggle to read the barcode correctly.
