I want to edit the workflow by the xml code..so how can I export any workflow to an xml file to modify ??

The workflows files are in the addons folder of your openerp installation, for example for the sale workflow the file is sale_workflow.xml
If you modify the workflow in the web interface, and want to export it to use it in another database, there is a module named base_module_record for v6.1 and v6.0 but it was deprecated in v7.0
