Hi everybody, I'm facing an error when Validate the Inventory Adjustment in Inventory app, the error reads as following:


The operation cannot be completed:
- Create/update: a mandatory field is not set. 
- Delete: another model requires the record being deleted. If possible, archive it instead. 
 Model: Stock Move (stock.move), Field: Destination Location (location_dest_id)


Step to reproduce error:

  1. The Products master data was created by importing via CSV. I'm sure I have filled up all the necessary field, because I'm able to create PO and SO without fail.
  2. Go to Inventory Adjustment , use any Product , then set the on hand quantity to 1 (or any amount).
  3. Validate the Inventory Adjustment. Then the error shows up. 

My Odoo version is 13 Enterprise

Can anybody please help? Thank you

Check whether Storage Locations has been turned on in Inventory > Configuration > Settings If you use this feature, you need to specify the location where the inventory adjustment is to be made.

If I go to Settings > Locations > WH/Stock

I don't see there is any option to specify the location for inventory adjustment.

Do you have any idea? Thanks

The location of the inventory adjustment is on the Inventory Adjustment form.

If you have this problem only with a specific product, it's very likely, that the Inventory Location of this product isn't set.

You only see this field with the Developer mode activated (Settings application > General Settings (in the left sidebar) > scroll down > Activate the developer mode).

Then go to the Inventory application > Products > Products > search and open the particular product > go to the Inventory tab > here you can see the Inventory Location setting. Make sure that an inventory location is set.

This should fix the problem and you should be able to adjust the stock of this product.

The problem is your Technical > Company Property > property_stock_inventory doesn't exist for some reason. Did you play hard with the defaults recently (just like me, huh?) lol Just restore it back.
