I have an instance of Odoo 16 with the Webisite module.

I have configured a site (with a top-level domain) and several other sites (with third-level domains) and now I would like to install the E-learning module but make it accessible only to one of these third-level sites, is this configuration possible?

Thanks,
Michela

Yes, Odoo 16 supports installing the E-learning module (website_slides) and making it accessible only on a specific subsite. To achieve this, you will need to assign e-learning content (such as courses) to the appropriate website and configure menu visibility accordingly, so it does not appear on other websites.

For example:

Main site: example.com

Subsite 1: elearning.example.com

Subsite 2: shop.example.com

Assign Courses to a Specific Website:

Go to E-learning → Courses (in the backend)

Open the course you want to restrict then Under the "Options" tab, locate the Website field and Select the specific website (eg elearning.example.com ). This ensures that the course is only visible on that particular subsite.

Restrict Course Menu Visibility on Other Sites

Go to: Website → Configuration → Menus

Search for the "Courses" menu item and Set the Website field to the subsite where you want the Courses page to appear.

This ensures that the "Courses" menu does not show up on other websites like example.com

By following these steps, the E-learning functionality will be accessible exclusively on your chosen subdomain and hidden from others.

We hope this helps! Kindly let us know if you need any further assistance!
