We are currently using the trial version 12 to test things and set up for our needs. We ran into an issue where we can create a user but even in the creation process there are no options to assign any rights its just blank space where the options should be. The only user that has these options is the main user (me).. Is it because its the trial version or are we missing something?

Now odoo have changed the structure, you can only find those custom access enable once you will do activate developer mode from setting.

Activate the developer mode.
Goto settings-->Activate developer mode
