Automatically Update a Product Cost based on current Inventory or from recent PO

Question

Is it possible to setup Odoo to automatically update a Product Cost?  If so the following are prioritized options for sources:
1) using a rolling average Product Cost based on current Inventory (presuming LIFO)?
- all inventory acquired using POs
- still figuring out how to reduce inventory (presumably using sales orders, etc.)
2) using Vendor Price from most recent PO?

I'm using Odoo 11 - Community version

You have available to you either STANDARD (you maintain), AVERAGE (each time you receive goods every item in inventory is revalued) or FIFO (also known as real cost - each item remembers what you paid for it).

This is a capability of both the Community and Enterprise Editions.
