By any chance there is a solution out there where i can when i click a menu, show a split view. For example if a click the menu, i want to have a List A on the left and a List B on the right. Both from different objects. It is conceptually something similar to what we have on dashboards.

You can put two One2many/Many2many lists in a form at the same time. You can use <group> tag to align them.

You can create a new view then by extending the form view. For example, you can check my addon hr_dashboard, here I created a new view for the dashboard. Design it using templates also.

Hi i have tried that, but not is what i want to accomplish. I want to create separate views. Another example a list on the left, and a map n the right.

Or do you want to open a new "screen" splitted in two view ?
The last case is easier.
Xavier, i really want the first, the second one is a solution but maybe i didn't understand you well, did you men to open 2 screens on the operative system??
